Township residents and commuters are advised that Pleasant View Road will be completely closed to all traffic on Tuesday, August 18, to accommodate a critical pipe replacement project.

The closure area is situated between Richlandtown Pike and Deer Trail Road. Construction crews will begin work at 8:30 AM, and the road is scheduled to reopen same-day by 4:00 PM, weather permitting.
Traffic Impact & Access

Zero Road Access: Pleasant View Road will be fully closed with no access for through-traffic or local vehicles between Richlandtown Pike and Deer Trail Road during active work hours.

Residents & Deliveries: Residents living within the affected stretch must plan to move their vehicles outside the work zone before 8:30 AM if they need to travel during the closure window. Access will not be permitted while work is underway.

Detour: All motorists must use alternate routes and budget extra travel time.

This pipe replacement is an essential upgrade to stormwater infrastructure to prevent roadway flooding and surface erosion.
For safety reasons, pedestrians, cyclists, and unauthorized vehicles are strictly prohibited from entering the active work zone. Emergency response services have been notified and will utilize designated alternate emergency routes.
