Springtown Rod and Gun Club Marks 100 Years with Community Bash
It isn't every day a local institution turns 100.
Established in 1926, the Springtown Rod and Gun Club has been a staple of the community for a century, and on Saturday, May 2nd, they are throwing a celebration to remember.
Fun for the Whole Family
Running from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the event is designed to be a "rain or shine" community festival. Organizers have curated a full day of activities suitable for all ages, ensuring that the club's legacy is shared with the next generation.
Food and Local Flavor
No celebration is complete without a great meal. Attendees can look forward to:
- A classic Chicken BBQ hosted by the PRFR
- A diverse selection of Food Trucks
- An array of Craft and Business Vendors showcasing the best of local talent and commerce.
A Patriotic Tribute
In a unique twist, the club is doubling the celebration by honoring America’s 250th Anniversary. One of the day's highlights will be a Black Powder Live Fire demonstration, offering a smoky, spectacular nod to our nation's sporting and historical roots.
